Extraordinary Lodging

Relax in the comfort of Flying Horse’s AAA Four Diamond Hotel, which blends posh sophistication with Colorado’s natural beauty. Book your stay in one of 102 guestrooms — including multiple suites — or four Tuscan-inspired villas with views of the championship Weiskopf Golf Course or the Rocky Mountains. The resort is dog friendly and offers easy access to neighborhood parks and walking paths, so even your pup will have plenty to enjoy on a family vacation. Regardless of the reason for your stay, luxury and limitless delights await — from adventures like hiking in the mountains to relaxing enjoying al fresco meals in the mountain air.

Play on Two Championship Golf Courses

Take a swing on one of two private 18-hole golf courses, one designed by the renowned golfer Tom Weiskopf and the other designed by golf course architect Phil Smith. These award-winning courses are available exclusively to guests of the resort and club members. Year-round golf lessons and clinics, led by a PGA Professional Instructor, are available to resort guests during their stays, rain or shine.

The Weiskopf Course boasts a links feel and continues to impress golfers offering epic views of Pikes Peak and the U.S. Air Force Academy. The deep, rough native grasses promote shots in the wide-open fairways throughout the course. Stretch 16-17-18 makes for a challenging finish that can make or break a round.

Less than 10 minutes from the resort is the Flying Horse North 18-hole course, designed by Phil Smith. Flying Horse North is a golfer’s dream and is intended to be as challenging as it is inspiring. Meticulously located within the astounding Black Forest, North presents open, firm greens with breathtaking views of the Front Range. North utilizes the natural landscape by winding through the forest and out into the prairie providing a variety of uniqueness from hole to hole. A unique feature is the 19th hole, which is a par 3 for golfers to settle a close match.

Exceptional Dining Experiences

There are nine unique dining outlets throughout Flying Horse Resort & Club, each offering their own crafted menus and drink selections. The award-winning Steakhouse is one of two in Colorado Springs that have been recognized by Wine Spectator with the Best of Award of Excellence. The worldly wine list and three-story wine tower at the Steakhouse is an experience in and of itself. Guests are welcome to dine throughout the day at Fortezza, with its tasteful menus and bistro bar, as well as a late-night happy hour. Guests can also have mouthwatering dishes from the comforts of their suites with in-room dining menus. The casual Athletic Grill fuels those working out or looking to relax on the pool deck, with seasonal menus that include colorful smoothies loaded with fresh fruit.

European-Style Athletic Club & Spa

Experience the European-inspired Athletic Club, which offers state-of-the-art fitness and cardio equipment, a year-round heated lap pool and hot tub, splash pads and water slides for kids, as well as an adult-only pool area during the summer. Monthly fitness classes are designed to strengthen the body, enhance cardio and build the mind-body connection. The Kids’ Cabin program leaders design programs to boost creativity and, most importantly, fun activities for guests. Pack your racquets because the Athletic Club is home to indoor clay courts and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. Indulge in spa services that leave guests refreshed — mind, body and soul. Many body treatments include the use of Swiss showers. Guests can select from a variety of treatments, massages, facials, hair services and more during their stay.
