Lakewood Lion by Pepe Gaka

Head over to RTD's Lamar Station, and you'll be greeted by a large blue lion, among other lively designs. Pepe Gaka, the mural's artist, is an Italian-born wanderer who's made his mark on walls around the world. Gaka expresses a common theme throughout all of his pieces: the relationship between nature and humans, which, of course, is one that is embodied in our state's culture.
